These videos basically sum up our trip but be warned, they range from 5-9 minutes for view them on your own time (or don't at all, either works). But to just give it some meat, this trip was unbelievably worthwhile. We got to see some pretty fantastic parts of China yet the same time we experienced some "not so fantastic" but very interesting parts.
As for this video, the first thing that comes to mind is the sleeper buses (hilarious yet uncomfortable...next time the bag is going on the bottom of the bus). Our first meal in Lijiang was awesome, the alcohol was definitely the strongest I've had (yeah, call me a baby, and I'm fine with that...it burned and made my stomach warm.) Lijiang itself was incredible. Just the cobble stone roads and the streams running through the shops and bridges and restaurant was very old towny. Where we stayed was quiet and cozy yet close to everything.
The Koreans. Boss. That's all I'll say, but pray for their ministry with children who don't have parents and can't afford education. China demands a payment for primary and secondary (elementary and middle/high school) so if you don't get the first, you don't get any and then have to do manual labor for life. Also that they would just remain strong and continue to show the love the showed us. It was a great first leg of the trip, but the best is yet to come.
